On September 20, music fills the air during the Waikiki Ho‘olaule‘a (street party) on Kalakaua Avenue between Lewers Street and Kapahulu Avenue—it’s Hawai‘i’s largest block party. Revelers can look forward to multiple stages of entertainment, food, lei vendors and Hawaiian crafters. The beauty of the Aloha Festivals Floral Parade begins on September 27 at 9 a.m. and makes its way down Kalakaua Avenue, ending at Kapi‘olani Park. Marching Bands, pa‘u riders, hula halau and a myriad of floats bedecked in fragrant blooms make this a not-tobe-missed parade. Various locations.
