Nestled within the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach, Little People Hawaii is a fun children’s store filled with everything your little one could ever need. For 23 years, this family-owned business has been servicing locals and visitors alike. “Our whole goal is just to make families happy,” says manager Christina Budroe-Laigo. “We definitely cater to our customer. So whatever their needs are, we’ll track it down, and we will find it.” With sizes ranging from 6 months to size 10, some popular items include hula skirts, matching sister and brother outfits, Havaianas slippers and swimwear with built-in diapers. The shop also enjoys supporting local talent. “Our books are by local authors, and [our] illustrations are done by local artists,” Budroe-Laigo explains. Employees not only service customers, but build relationships with them as well. “I have really loyal customers who come back, because they know that they’re going to get really good quality,” Budroe-Laigo says. With aloha wear, books, toys, sunglasses and more, this is truly a one-stop shop for anything your child may need for an exciting beach day or just lounging around.
