Calling all burger devotees—we’ve got just the place for you. As its name implies, this eatery specializes in creating mouthwatering cheeseburgers in a variety of ways. And with three locations just in Waikiki, a hot, juicy burger is just a few steps away. The most central is Cheeseburger Beachwalk, where you can pop in for a refreshing plantation iced tea (or mai tai if you want something a little more potent) and take your pick from a tasty array of burgers, sandwiches, salads and more. Gluten-free items are on the menu as well. A few of our personal favorites include the Original Cheeseburger With An Attitude—a half-pound burger served with Thousand Island dressing, lettuce, tomatoes and onions, topped with a thick slice of their special house blend of Colby Jack cheese. There’s also the “It’s All Good,” which has everything mentioned above plus sauteed mushrooms, bacon, a slice of Swiss and a scoop of guacamole. For a local burger rendition, try the Cheese-burger Island Style, which comes with a freshly grilled slice of pineapple and their very own Hawaiian teriyaki sauce. In a word: Yum!
