Kenny’s Hawaiian Express
Kenny’s Restaurant has been a favorite for kama‘aina for almost 50 years. Known for Hawai‘i-style comfort food, it’s a great place to head for a taste of the Islands. That’s why so many welcomed the opening of Kenny’s Hawaiian Barbeque Express in the heart of Waikiki.
The menu here is focused on the essence of Hawai‘i favorites: plate lunch offerings such as mahi mahi, teri beef or chicken katsu with two scoops of rice and a side of macaroni (“mac”) salad; loco moco, teriyaki burgers and fish sandwiches.
There’s even a breakfast menu that serves up meals similar to a plate lunch, only with breakfast meats and starches (hash browns available) or try the Sweet Bread French Toast.
