Sounds Greek to Me!

For a taste of the Mediterranean—Eastern Mediterranean to be exact—drop by the The Fat Greek to get your fill of babaganoush, gyros and much more. The menu is chock-full of authentic Greek specialties whether appetizer, entree, side dish or dessert. Dishes are well-seasoned and full of flavor. If you’re dining with a bigger party, you may want to order the King’s Platter, which serves four. Complete with chicken, fish and lamb souvlaki skewers, gyros, falafel, shawarma, garlic shrimp, tzatziki, tahini, hot sauces and freshly baked pita bread, the super sampler provides a diverse selection of flavors. The Fat Greek also has its daily “Papa’s Specials” including an impromptu Chef’s Choice special on Saturdays. As for dessert, though baklava is always a safe bet, we suggest the Athena Tiramisu. Similar to the Italian original but served in a sweet pita bowl garnished with honey and fresh fruit.
