View to a Thrill

Oceanfront dining without the price tag, Queen’s Surf Café and Lanai is truly a hidden gem. Nestled toward the Diamond Head side of Waikiki, the low-key café serves breakfast all day—we love the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and the ‘ahi tuna lunch plate. And whether you’re in need of a freshly brewed cup of coffee to perk you up, or a refreshing fruit smoothie to quench your thirst, the cozy café has you covered. If you’re there to catch one of Waikiki’s spectacular sunsets on a Friday, you’ll also be privy to a live music performance (from 5-8 p.m.) while you relish the night’s special—a tasty combo of ‘ahi, steak, shrimp or pork, accompanied with rice, salad and corn. And be sure to stick around until 7:45 p.m. so you can view the fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
