Hawaii Five-0‘s all-star cast <3 Waikiki
Thousands gathered for the season 3 world premiere of hit television show Hawaii Five-0 at Sunset on the Beach in Waikiki a few months ago.
We caught up with some of the celebs on the red carpet and asked them what their favorite thing about Waikiki is:

“In Waikiki, there are two places I like: Nobu and GS Studio (in the Waikiki Joy Hotel on Lewers Street) for karaoke,” says the Lost alum who has been living in Hawai‘i for the past eight years.
MASI OKA

“My favorite thing about Waikiki is the people, they’re just amazing,” says Oka, who lives in Waikiki. “Also the culture, and just everything about this place.”
MICHELLE BORTH

“My favorite thing about Waikiki is surfing and my favorite spot is Pops,” says Borth who is now a regular on the show, and has moved to Hawai‘i, living just a couple blocks away from the red carpet event at Waikiki Beach near the Honolulu Zoo. “I picked up surfing while here, and I love it. I haven’t gone (with the other cast members) yet ‘cause they’re really good, so I wouldn’t be able to hang with them. I’m just sort of getting my surfer thing on now—but one day.”

“Watching the people go by,” says the Australian actor who recently welcomed a baby boy with girlfriend Malia Jones, a local surfer/model.
