The Honolulu Marathon, Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl and the NFL Pro Bowl and the associated events provide a great selection of sports and activities. The 2013 NFL Pro Bowl takes place on Jan. 27, 2013 and also has its own set of related events—the most notable being the Pro Bowl Block Party in Waikiki on Jan. 26.
On New Year’s Eve/Day, Waikiki is one big celebration venue. Here, the New Year will be crowned by a stunning fireworks display at the stroke of midnight directly off shore from Waikiki, visible from all Waikiki beaches.
