It can be argued that there is nothing more relaxing than teeing up, and whacking a golf ball as far as you can at the famous Ala Wai Driving Range. Just a hop, skip and a jump away from Waikiki Beach, the Ala Wai Golf Course is the only golf course in the downtown Honolulu area. Even though the golf course is recognized as the busiest municipal golf course in the nation, the driving range hours from 6 a.m.- 12 midnight seven days a week, are sure to leave you some time to squeeze in a bit of golf.

No clubs? No problem, club rentals are available at the driving range for a fee as well as buckets of eighty or fifty golf balls. Like the golf course itself, the driving range tends to be quite busy but with over forty stalls people are always in and out. Your best bet is to take a swing early in the morning or perhaps in the evening after a relaxing day at the beach. Check out the putting green, Pro Shop or Clubhouse Restaurant and Snack bar while you wait.
