In the height of summer, the beaches of Waikiki look as if it’s covered in a quilted blanket of various skin shades—from tan to bronze to pink! For beach bunnies, it’s the color pink—the telltale sign of a wicked sunburn—that they’ve got to worry about. Does that scenario seem all-too-familiar? If you’ve been burned badly, you may want to pop an aspirin or ibuprofen, or perhaps get relief by applying a cool (not cold) compress. But seasoned sunbathers know that the care you give your skin after basking under those golden rays is just as important as slathering on the SPF during you time in the sun.
