Fashion meets functionality at Rimowa, the first choice in travel gear for the international jetsetter. Founded in 1893, Rimowa has become known the world over for its German-designed hard-sided premium aluminum and polycarbonate luggage and suitcases that are durable yet lightweight and all around stylish. And while the brand can be found at cities throughout the world such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Seoul and Munich, it is here in Hawai‘i that shoppers can only find a handful of exclusive products.

Opened as the first-ever flagship store in Hawai‘i (and the United States) in 2009, the Rimowa Waikiki store, Collections of Waikiki, at the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa has the largest selection of Rimowa in the U.S., with many lines found nowhere else. To start, there is the Salsa Deluxe in a white with brown trim exclusive to the Waikiki boutique. There also is the pink Salsa Air series (limited to North American outlets) as well as the purple Limbo series with aluminum frame (exclusive to Hawai‘i and three other high-end outlets in Las Vegas, Beverly Hills and Taiwain).
Each piece is sure to surpass the busy traveler’s demands for quality, durability and lasting design. With a slogan of “Handcraft Meets High Tech,” how could it not?
