One might assume that visitors to Hawai‘i would opt for a “natural look” in cosmetics while enjoying their jaunt to the islands. But, according to Betsey Lum, merchandise manager for the 19,000 sq. ft. Beauty World at Duty Free Shops, travelers often take the opposite approach.
“They’re more experimental and dramatic while on vacation than they would be when they’re at home,” Lum says.
