Like many of the treasures you’ll come across in Waikiki, Vitamin is a hidden gem that sits in a low key storefront along Kuhio Avenue. Behind a simple sign, you’ll find that the store does indeed carry vitamins, fish oil and other health-focused items. Look a little closer, though, and you’ll find a colorful array of ‘ukulele on the wall directly opposite the supplements. The selection ranges from beginner or keiki pieces to instruments featuring exotic woods and intricate inlays. In addition to the ‘ukulele, you’ll also find t-shirts and a selection of other tchotchkes that’ll make for fun souvenirs.
