The Ritz-Carlton Residences, scheduled to complete in 2016, announced two restaurants that will open in addition to the already confirmed Dean & Deluca market—Sushi Sho, a Japanese restaurant with 15 locations throughout Japan known for Edo-style sushi, and BLT Market, a “farm-to-table” restaurant that will be the second BLT restaurant in Waikiki… Plans for Waikiki Landing, the project being built at part of the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor next to the Hawaii Prince Hotel, will include wedding chapels, restaurants, retail space, office space in addition to a boat repair facility and fuel dock. The scheduled completion date is Spring 2014… Saks Fifth Avenue will anchor a retail complex at the planned redevelopment of the International Market Place according to an announcement by landowner, Queen Emma Land Co. and developer Taubman Centers Inc. There is no scheduled timetable for construction or opening at this time… New retail tenants at Royal Hawaiian Center include Calypso St. Barth, Maile Kai Chocolates, Silver Rhino and Fighting Eel… DFS Galleria welcomes Tom Ford Cosmetics and Clarisonic… Hyatt Regency Waikiki announced the opening of the new $2 million Kou Ballroom featuring over 3,000 square feet of function space that also features a newly created sustainable menu featuring local ingredients… Hawai’i’s first H&M, a global fashion retail brand, is slated to open in early 2014 at Waikiki Business Plaza… Another first for Hawai’i is Love Culture, a young trend-oriented retail concept, confirmed to open at Waikiki Shopping Plaza… Australian chef Bill Granger’s first U.S. restaurant will open in Waikiki at 280 Beachwalk
