This location at 280 Beachwalk is Akakura’s second international boutique. One of the only shoe stores in Waikiki catering to visitors and locals, AKaKuRa House carries a wide range of styles from platform heels to loafers. In addition to the in-house Akakura and Flag brands, the store also boasts a selection of curated out-of-house brands such as New York-based Jump sneakers, espadrille wedges from Spain, OKA b. resort sandals, Deimille brand from Italy and Rabokigoshi Works by Emiko Kamishima shoes from Japan. This flagship location also stocks a few Hawai‘i-exclusive styles from Akakura and wedding shoe line “I Do by Flag.” If the shoe fits, buy it.
