And it’s… T Galleria!
In September, DFS Group announced a new name for its non-airport retail stores. Instead of DFS Galleria, stores like the Waikiki location in city areas, will now be known as T Galleria by DFS. This worldwide name unveiling by DFS Group’s Chairman and CEO Philippe Schaus happened at a grand celebration party right on Kalakaua Avenue in front of a crowd of 600 guest VIPs, including HRH The Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, Princess of Denmark; Alexandra von Furstenberg; Governor Neil Abercrombie; model Jessica Michibata; actor Daniel Dae Kim; actor Ingo Rademacher; singer Estelle (who also made a surprise performance!) and other DFS Group executives. The general public was also invited to the party and treated to special live performances by the Noisettes, Taimane and Starr Kalahiki.

The “T” in T Galleria stands for “traveler,” and speaks to the brand’s commitment to their customers, travelers.
“DFS has spent 53 years expertly catering to the world traveler and will continue to do so by offering the best lineup of luxurious brands and an exceptional shopping environment,” says Noriko Harimoto, DFS Hawaii Retail Marketing Manager. “Our local market is also growing, especially in beauty products, since we have the largest beauty department in the islands.”
Although the name is changed, the high-quality shopping experience is still the same. “T Galleria offers an expertly curated assortment of the world’s preferred luxury brands, exceptional retail environments, highly personalized services and unique experiences tailored to their specific needs as travelers,” says Harimoto.
