Cultured in beans from Papua New Guinea, Peru, Brazil, Columbia, and naturally, Kona grinds from the Big Island, Kai Coffee Hawai‘i’s “sommeliers” are experts in whisking custom iced and hot beverages into drinkable works of art. Master baristas brew java topped with frothy flowers, hearts—and even teddy bears—from a luxurious, state-of-the-art Nuova Simonelli espresso machine.

A genuine sense of aloha is steeped into every pour over from the breezy, “boutique” coffee house located on Hyatt Regency Waikiki’s ground floor. “Crafting a great cup of premium coffee is my way of showing people my passion,” shares Samuel Suiter, proprietor, who opened Kai Coffee Hawai‘i in May. “I express my sincerity and genuine care for people by giving them a product that will hopefully brighten their day.”
