Many visitors to the isles make their first introduction to our tropical fruits, nectars, nut oils and other edibles at the dinner table.
But these delicacies have the power to heal both inside and out, and many of the same ingredients can be found on the menus of our spas. Here are a few of the treatments that use local ingredients that are available:

Organic extra virgin coconut oil, passion fruit and Hawaiian honey are the main ingredients in the spa’s luxurious 80-minute Hawaiian Organic Spa Experience, a head-to-toe massage treatment. The cost is $140 for 50 minutes, or $195 for 80 minutes, with extra pampering on your back.

Abhasa Waikiki
Bliss can be yours with the spa’s Tropical Crush body treatment. Organic passion fruit oil infused with Hawaiian sea salt is used in this invigorating full-body exfoliation and soothing lomilomi massage combination that promises to ease your mind, while leaving your skin renewed. The cost is $200 for 80 minutes.

The Nani U’i Malie Hawaiian treatment combines two of Hawai’i’s most revered plants, kalo (taro) and niu (coconut), rich with enzymes and oils to nourish the skin. The 120-minute journey starts with a fragrant foot cleanse, followed by body exfoliation using a blend of Hawaiian cane sugar, coconut and kukui nut oil. You’ll then be treated to the warm, hydrating mask of kalo, soothing coconut milk and healing Hawaiian honey. While your skin takes in this feast, you’ll enjoy a revitalizing scalp and foot massage. Finish by washing your cares away in a floral-filled bath and leaving with a body application of coconut body butter. The cost is $265.
