Did you miss the farmers’ market at Kapi’olani Community College (KCC) on Saturday? Don’t fret; head over to Honolulu Gourmet Foods for a sampling of food, beauty and craft products from a selection of the many local farmers’ market vendors. Open 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., this newly opened store provides customers with a convenient opportunity to shop for made-in-Hawai’i products from a number of local brands including in-house brand Honolulu Gourmet Foods, Madre Chocolate, Kahuku Farms, Anahola Granola, Kauai Nut Roasters, Adoboloco Hot Sauce and more. “The store was born from our booth at the KCC Farmers’ Market,” says Jill Miiko Lee, founder and president of Honolulu Gourmet Foods. “We have been a part of the market for many years and believe deeply in producing and supporting locally made products.” Buy even beyond-“local” products—Lee believes in producing high-quality artisan products, which is something she shares with the other vendors featured in the store. “We share the same goals and philosophy of showcasing specialty items that are made in small quantities utilizing the finest Hawaiian ingredients,” Lee says.

Healthy grab-and-go items like salads, wraps and sandwiches made from produce and products from Ho Farms, Kahuku Farms and Maunakea Bakery are also available.
