Hans Hedemann Surf School celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and has aquatic lessons (including surfing, body boarding and stand-up paddling) suitable for any skill level.

“The waves are perfect for teaching people to surf or for taking their surfing to the next level,” says Chelsea Lewis, general manager of the surf school, “with long, rolling waves that give the student lots of time to get up and ride the wave or work on new skills. Plus, the beautiful, warm waters and scenery [of Waikiki] make it a very enjoyable place to work.”
