A visit to Sacred Jewels of Mu on Waikiki Beach Walk will truly take your breath away. Take one look at the Hawaiian jewelry and unique, custom Hawaiiana-themed pieces made by artisans, and appreciate the stories and creative process behind each piece.

Rama Smith, owner and co-founder of Sacred Jewels of Mu, describes his customer as someone “looking for something truly unique and appreciates the local hand-craftsmanship, manufacturing and attention to detail.” Smith continues, “Our customer wants to bring home a piece of Hawai’i, an authentic memory piece of the highest quality and creative designs.”

Sacred Jewels of Mu was launched in 2011 with authentic hand-engraved Hawaiian Jewelry featuring 18kt gold and sterling silver, and made with the highest level of quality and detail finishes. “We wanted to honor the history of Hawaiian jewelry and incorporate the Hawaiian Royalty theme as a tribute to King Kalakaua and his sister Queen Lili’uokalani who originated what we now know as Hawaiian Jewelry, back in the 1880s.” says Smith. Each piece is produced from a new wax carving each time rather than a mold used in large production operations.

“My inspiration to design custom jewelry for each customer is to create a truly one-of-a-kind design that is born through our imagination and creativity,” says Smith. “It all starts with a spark of purpose and meaning, and together the customer, designer or consultant, and our team of Sacred Jewels of Mu master artisans manifest concept to reality … There is nothing quite like designing your own unique memory piece for yourself or a loved one. Our motto is ‘If you can dream it, we can make it.'”

It is rare to find a jeweler that offers this personal and high-quality level of experience, and to find it in the heart of Waikiki will make it that much easier for you to take home a memory of Hawai’i that is close to your heart and made from your dreams.
