The announcement of Francesca Amfitheatrof as the new design director of Tiffany & Co. last year signaled a new chapter for the creative legacy of the brand. Amfitheatrof brings over 20 years of experience in the worlds of art, furniture and jewelry design, and her first collection, Tiffany T, is bold, modern and a wonderfully minimal departure. The pieces, in 18k gold (rose, yellow and white) and sterling silver are simple, yet architectural, using the graphic ‘T’ shape as a focal point. -S.H.
