Their mascot Noah, a purebred Chihuahua, serves as the inspiration for the boutique’s pet collection. “Our stuff is all original,” says Yoshiko Shishida, manager of Luna Blue. “It is all designed in-house … we don’t go and mass produce. Once it’s sold out, it’s sold out.” However, this boutique not only offers pet merchandise but clothing items for pet owners as well. Shishida explains that while the lion’s share of the store offerings are of the canine variety, Luna Blue also features items that humans would want. “People like to buy stuff for their pets and like to buy stuff for themselves … People seem to still pamper [and] take care of their pets, just like their human children.” So head over to Luna Blue today and treat yourself, as well as your pet, to a new wardrobe!
